Alyx Delgado is currently a Sr. Project Controller at Peter Kiewit & Son’s (Kiewit), a privately held construction and engineering firm. Starting in the power market, with a focus in the renewables space, Alyx has quickly transitioned to leading the operational finance organization for the emerging nuclear market. Her responsibilities include overseeing the business functions that support our construction operations on a day-to-day basis, as well as overseeing and communicating the district financials to company leadership.
Prior to Kiewit, Alyx worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), a big four accounting firm, as a Federal Tax Manager. Her experience includes tax compliance & consulting, as well as supporting the audit of tax provisions for SEC regulated entities. The technical background has benefited her today in the highly regulated industry she serves now.
Prior to PwC, Alyx graduated from the University of Kansas with her Master of Accountancy and holds her Certified Public Accountant license in the state of Missouri. In her downtime, she enjoys hanging out with her friends & family, running, fishing, or playing her dog, Sam.
