Driven by her passion for people and culture, Felisha Parker leads the Human Resources function at McCarthy Auto Group. McCarthy owns and operates 11 dealerships and a corporate office with nearly 700 full-time employees. Felisha stives to make a positive impact on each employee she encounters. She truly believes that HR can shape an employee’s experience within an organization. Whether through benefits, training and development, or just providing a safe place for employees to talk, her goal is to ensure she is helping to provide the needs of her team members each day.
Prior to her employment at McCarthy, Felisha spent 10 years at EPR Properties, a publicly traded commercial real estate investment trust. Starting as an HR Coordinator she worked her way up to HR Director during her decade with the organization. She attended the University of Missouri Columbia and Kansas City, graduating from UMKC in 2010. She served on the Kansas City Infertility Awareness Foundation board for three years, helping to provide education, support, and financial resources to Kansas City couples struggling with infertility. Felisha was also a Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleader from 2008-2011. Through the program, she gained confidence with public speaking and a passion for giving back to the community.
Felisha is married to her husband Chris Parker of 13 years and together they have Sophia (8) through the gift of adoption and Sloan (7) biologically through a miracle after many years of infertility. She is excited to be back in Driving Pursuits for a second year, hoping to gain more skills and confidence on the golf course.
